Injuries are a very common issue for me. I am now, and always have been a bit accident prone. So it is not uncommon for me to trip, fall down, or slip and cause injuries. You name it, and I have likely tripped, slipped or fallen over it. Imagine my relief to have found a way to quickly heal injuries!
Here’s an account of my most recent injury. Plus photos to document how I quickly healed. From impact to no sign of injury within four days!
My Injuries From Slips, Trips, and Falls
Stairs are my worst enemy. Or is it my feet that are? Either way having a two story house, I fall down the stairs more often than I would like to admit. The stairs are open with no banisters so falling, is well – pretty darn painful.
Baby gates are my arch enemy! Being rather short I am just barely tall enough to get over one. Injuries relating to baby gates are very frequent for me. My entire house is a booby-trap at every turn for someone as accident prone as I am.
When I do anything, I do my best to do it right. So you should expect nothing less when it comes to me and injuries. That means that through the course of my life, I have had many injuries after slips trips and falls. In the last two years I have had:
- Broken ribs
- Bone bruises
- Muscle contusions
- Normal bruising
- Cuts, and scrapes
See, I told you I try to do everything the right way. All jokes aside, some of these are serious injuries. Injuries like a bone bruise, is actually fairly bad. Bone bruises are microscopic fractures to the inner parts of the bone.
Commonly people think of a normal bruise as a hematoma, though that is not the case either. A hematoma is when the tissue breaks and allows blood to leak and then clot into the tissue. If you have had a lumpy bruise, it was likely a hematoma.
Here’s the result of my latest clumsy moment.
My Recent Injury
My most recent injury was pretty bad. A few weeks ago we replaced a baby gate, as our dog tore through the last one. The store did not have the same gate available. So I ended up purchasing a gate much taller than the last. With all my success getting back pain relief with Mobicosa, I thought I could handle the extra effort in climbing a taller barrier without issue.
I can lift my leg more easily since I began using Mobicosa so the height of the baby gate was not a problem. But this gate has two pieces that stick up on either side, instead of being a flush square like most other gates (my last one included).
I prepared a snack for my son and I, and confidently returned to the living room. I’d been swinging my leg over the gate with no mobility issues thanks to Mobicosa products. Well today I would need the Mobicosa more than ever.
The little piece that sticks up from the top of the gate became caught on my left pant leg. My right leg already in the living room, resting on just my toes. I could not shake myself free. All my efforts finally paid off, though not in the way I hoped.
I’d bent forward trying to get my son to move out of the way because I had no doubts as to how this was going to end – in a fall.
I somehow broke free but due to the awkward position, it was a rough landing. I ended up slamming all of my body weight down on just my calf muscle. With all the pressure from fighting to get free behind it too. I did not fall straight down either, I ended up landing in front of the television.
Even in a small living room like mine that put me in the center of the floor. Not by the entryway where the gate is. I also broke the baby gate, and scuffed the paint on the entryway! The barrier is still functional, but I now have to use tape to hold it in the correct spot.
At this point our snack of jello and fresh fruit was splattered everywhere. Half laughing and half crying I was trying to lift myself off the floor.
My young son was worried, saying “My goodness! Are you okay?”. Funny how children mimic their mothers.
My leg was jammed up, and there was already a hematoma (visible lumps), and bruising present. Knowing that I needed to do something or this was only going to get much worse, I headed for my Mobicosa gel.
I was horrified when I grabbed my bottle of gel, and it was almost empty! With all my recent injuries I had used almost my entire bottle and failed to order a new one in time!
So I would have to use what I had left sparingly until my new bottle arrived! Still I applied the gel within minutes of the injury, just less gel than I normally would. With hardly any Mobicosa gel left in the bottle, I applied just one drop on my quite significant bruise.
Treatment and Recovery of Injuries
With my bottle of gel being almost empty I decided to apply just one or two small spots of Mobicosa gel at a time. I needed my bottle to last till the new one arrived!
Normally it takes several weeks for this type of bruising to subside, and a hematoma can linger much longer. I was elated that my most recent injury seemed to be skipping steps and healing very fast, even with using less Mobicosa gel than normal!
The initial impact should have resulted in my calf having a deep purple or black bruise the next day. It skipped that step! It went straight to the maroon color that a bruise turns once it is healing!
Despite using so much less Mobicosa gel than normal, it still managed to quickly heal my injuries!
The second day I again applied Mobicosa gel. Amazing unexpected things were happening with my injuries. After all I was using much less gel than I normally do, and was still healing nicely!
I have never had injuries like these heal so swiftly! I applied Mobicosa gel in the morning and in the evening before bed to my injuries.
It only took two days for delivery of my new Mobicosa bottle after ordering it online. But it was already Day Three and I was intrigued by the ability of this incredible gel to get such amazing results using such a small amount. So I decided, just this once, to continue being frugal in the way I treated my bruise.
It only took four – yes, only FOUR days for the bruise to be completely gone! Four days to quickly heal, and I used very little gel! I was happy!
These injuries could have healed much faster if I had only remembered to order a replacement bottle of Mobicosa gel sooner.
I have to wonder what might have happened had I used all the available gel at the moment of impact instead of using tiny daily amounts. But I did what I thought was best at the time. And it was a fascinating experiment.
I am so glad to have Mobicosa in my life now. I do plan on keeping two bottles on hand at all times so there is no need to worry about running out again! If I keep a spare bottle I will always be able to quickly heal injuries, without worry of running out!
I was amazed that using such a small amount of the gel still helped quickly heal my injuries. Sure it may not have healed as fast as if I was able to slather on a big glob, but I can’t complain about it taking 4 days. After all, it was my fault for not ordering sooner!
It is liberating to not be held back by injuries anymore. I am so grateful to be able to quickly heal. Especially since slips, trips and falls are a very common thing in my life!
