Abscessed Tooth Swelling Treatment at Home

Mobicosa Reviews
Abscessed Tooth Swelling

I am not a doctor. I am just your average stay at home mother and wife who attempts to find natural remedies to treat the problems our family faces in the best ways possible. Having an abscessed tooth is serious. I am not telling you to skip the dentist. I am merely offering advice to effectively reduce swelling if you have an abscessed tooth and seeing a dentist is not a current possibility due to:
• Not having the money to see a dentist for your abscessed tooth
• Not having dental insurance
•Getting an abscessed tooth on a holiday or weekend when the dentist is unavailable.

What is an Abscessed Tooth?

An abscessed tooth is a collection of pus in the gums caused by an infection. There are many ways of treating an abscessed tooth, but most of the time it does require medical attention.

Getting an abscessed tooth is no fun. The pain can be horrible. On top of dealing with the pain, most of the time if it is not caught very early on you will end up with facial swelling.

Symptoms of an abscessed tooth include:

  • Pain when chewing food
  • Swollen glands in your neck
  • Fever
  • Bad breath
  • Weird abnormal taste in your mouth
  • Generally feeling bad
  • Abnormal tooth sensitivity to hot or cold
  • Gums that are red or swollen
  • Sore on your gums that may look like a blister or drain
  • Jaw becomes swollen near the tooth causing discomfort

If you are looking for specific ways to treat an abscessed tooth at home check out my other article “Tooth Abscess Remedy Under $20“. (That article covers treating the problem that caused the abscess.)

Here in this article I will help you deal with the swelling caused by the abscessed tooth while you wait to treat yourself or see a dentist.

My Husband’s Constant Abscessed Tooth

I have what feels like the most stubborn husband in the world. Like many he hates the dentist. This is not a good combination when he also loves candy and other foods that are horrible for his teeth.

He has repeatedly had problems with an abscessed tooth, yet he refuses to see a dentist. So as his wife who loves him, and would like him to live pain free, I searched for ways to help him gain relief without going to the dentist. If I can’t talk him into having a dentist look at his abscessed tooth I at least have to try something!

I’ve figured out a great abscessed tooth remedy. However by the time he tells me it is abscessed again he is usually looking like his cheek is stuffed with something. Since he still has to go to work I need something to treat the swelling while we also treat the abscessed tooth.

Mobicosa Joint Gel to treat abscessed tooth

Mobicosa Joint Gel is for more than just your joints. Along with many other uses, it can also be used for treating the swelling caused by an abscessed tooth!

Mobicosa Joint Gel For Abscessed Tooth Swelling

Mobicosa Joint Gel is commonly used to treat arthritis swelling and pain. It is a natural product that contains Green-Lipped mussels. While it’s primary use is for arthritis, it has MANY other uses.

Currently we use Mobicosa Gel for:

  • Arthritis knee pain
  • Arthritis back pain
  • Bug bites
  • Bruises
  • Gamer’s Thumb
  • Abscessed tooth swelling

It can be used for more, but since we have only begun using it a few months ago, these are things that have come up for us to try it on. Every time we use it for something knew we are amazed.

A couple weeks ago my husband once again woke up with a swollen face. He had neglected to tell me his mouth had been hurting for two days. Mostly because he knew I would fuss and tell him he needed to see a dentist. So as I saw his pitiful face I went to our medicine cabinet. I grabbed our bottle of Mobicosa Joint Gel.

I rubbed the Mobicosa gel into the swelling on his face. Normally the gel does not need to be rubbed in so much, but with his mouth hurting he said it actually felt good when being rubbed. So we fully rubbed the Mobicosa into his jaw.

I sent him to work with the Mobicosa gel with instructions to rub it on every 2 hours. This remedy started at 5am before he went to work. He continued rubbing the gel on every 2 hours while he was at work. By the time he called me at lunch he said he could feel a difference in the amount of pressure on his face. He still had an abscessed tooth, but the amount of swelling pushing on it, causing discomfort had decreased.

By the time he was home at 5pm the swelling was only 1/4 of what it was before the Mobicosa gel.

How to Use Mobicosa Gel to Treat Your Abscessed Tooth Swelling

So now that you know my experience, of course you want to know how to treat your own abscessed tooth swelling! Thankfully it is super easy.

To treat your swelling simply:

  • Rub the Mobicosa Gel onto the part of your cheek that is swollen.
  • Either fully rub it in or just wipe onto the skin
  • Rub it on every 2 hours starting as soon as you notice swelling

Cautions:

  • Mobicosa Joint Gel should only be used externally.
  • Mobicosa Joint Gel should not be used on broken skin.
  • Mobicosa Joint Gel is made of mussels. So talk to a doctor before using if you have a seafood allergy.
  • Keep Mobicosa Joint Gel away from your eyes.

Now that you know how to treat your abscessed tooth swelling, hopefully you can help yourself ease some of the discomfort caused by your abscess by getting yourself some Mobicosa Joint Gel. (If you are in the US, you can expect delivery within two to three days. If you don’t already have Mobicosa on hand, order it at the first sign of an abscessed tooth.) You won’t want to wait too long before getting relief!
